Professional Accomplishments

Dr. Wartick co-authored International Business and Societyand Business-Government Relations: A Managerial and Analytical Perspective. He has published more than thirty articles and papers in journals including the Academy of Management Review, California Management Review, and Business & Society. He is the Past Editor of Business & Society. He is the Past President of the International Association for Business and Society (IABS) and past Chair of the Social Issues in Management (SIM) Division of the Academy of Management. Dr. Wartick is also a member of the Academy of International Business. He joined the UNI faculty in 1998 after more than twenty years of teaching experience at the University of Missouri-St. Louis Penn State and Pittsburg State University. He served as the department head of management from 2001 to 2003. Dr. Wartick has served as a consultant on strategic and issues management with Price Waterhouse, Consumers Power, and Catholic Health Association among others.

Research Interests: Corporate Social Performance/Issues Management. Strategic Issues Analysis. Business-Government Relations.
